Physalia, a kind of "alforreca", called Portuguese Man-O-War, due to its similarity to a portuguese vessel used at the time of the great Portuguse period of Discoveries.
This is a very dangerous species and its attacks may cause on its victims permanent scars.
Two children were seriously injured today when they touched one in a Portuguese beach, Peniche. They were attracted by its bright and colourful colours that looked like a toy to them.

Alforrecas are really dangerous.
I saw some in Algarve when I was walking away on the beach.

They're so disgusting!

Many kisses teacher
