Celebrating...

Mardi Gras for some people ; Carnival for others...
The concept, though is the same.
It's time to forget problems and have fun, on the streets. People wear masks and they incarnate totally new characters, all is possible, excesses are accepted, political and social satire are common issues.
Some famous Carnival celebrations take place in Rio de Janeiro, Venice and New Orleans...just to mention a few.
Have fun...in Portugal we say " É Carnaval, ninguém leva a mal".

Hello teacher! :D

I really like the Carnival. Is the time of year when everyone seems happy, forgetting their problems.

This day fills the streets of music and dancing, people dressed in colorful clothes and incarnate other characters, often different from themselves.

In the Carnival you can be what you want!

Yeah Seraf, I like it too, but normally I go with normal clothes... I like Portuguese carnival more than brasilian's.. With some much samba and girls, it loses a little bit of the humour...
