Thoughts...
I'm starting to evaluate my students' tests and I wonder what shall I do to make them understand the importance of studying, the need to try harder whenever they've got a difficulty.Youngsters have very easy lives, permissive parents, money to spend on luxury items, so they look at school as a place they must attend effortlessly.They would like that teachers did their own jobs...
Teaching is becoming a very demanding job, but I think that the real "task" is to teach students...something.

As facilidades para os jovens, nos dias de hoje, são imensas. Está tudo à distância de um pedido, e as coisas acontecem, aparecem... Mas só as dificuldades é que fazem crescer. É preciso cair muitas vezes, para aprender caminhar...
Quando terminei de ler este sorri... É esse "something" que faz toda a diferença, e é esse "something" que tu procuras sempre encontrar para passar aos teus alunos... Como uma vez dizias, para além de ensinares inglês, podes ensinar valores, ensinar um pouco da vida, marcar a diferença. Sei que o tentas fazer, e com tempo sei que acabarás por fazê-lo novamente.

Nothing is impossible, and I think that students always learn something, even if it isn't showed..
In spite of all, in my opinion there is always something that stays inside of us.. Many times, it's possible that some students don't want to learn verbs, vocabulary, grammar, to do their homework, but there is something that they can save inside of them, even if it isn't about the subject. It's a wrong option, I know.. But, if they don't learn about the subject, they can learn about life...
I learnt too, and now, I say that it was the most important, besides english that I love :)

Quanto ao post,sim é verdade hoje em dia nós, jovens, temos a vida muito facilitada...
Tenho a certeza que os seus novos alunos durante este ano lectivo irão aprender, com a stora, o que é realmente a vida :-). Sim porque as aulas desta stora n são só de inglês, são realmente aulas de vida...

I do not fully agree with the text.
Because ainta there are students with a life easier, it is true, but most students do not, many of these people do not have the life fácilitada are studying it applies to achieve its objective, that is the job they both want.
But I agree that it is difficult teaching the students, because students are sometimes complicated, which then further complicates the work of the teacher.
Must be díficil understand what the student thinks and we realized that the matter was given that way.
I would not like to be teacher because I think it would not achieve cope well with the students.
I do not agree much with what the text says since students do not need that teachers will facilitate the studies needed not the same as they had done because the teachers do not help much life to the students, not all the teachers are so, the few that help most students doque others.
But there are also students who do not facilitate, life teachers, are very poorly educated and not endeavor to try to understand.
Moreover the students that because they weigh so that money can buy everything and everyone until pessam that can buy the teachers, do nothing during the year and want to reach the end of the year with good grades and passing.
This is my opinion.
