The Hurricane

A year went by since Katrina has destroyed not only a city, but specially millions of lives of the poor, mostly blacks living in New Orleans.
That day the world watched the devastation, and the United States government promised help and relieve actions to save their fellow citizens.
The next days, we saw nothing but death, destruction and desolation. The refugees were left alone, hungry, hopeless and above all humiliated because they meant nothing, they were "invisible", according to Oprah's words.
A year after in the city are still visible the signs of the desvasting Katrina.
A year after the lives of millions of people haven't seen any hope of recovery.
They are still "invisible"...
The question is .... should they be treated like that in a country that claims to be the most powerful nation in the world?
